Vialex was founded in 2010 with a vision to meet clients’ day-to-day corporate and commercial legal requirements in a more comprehensive, flexible, and cost-effective manner than a traditional law firm, but always without compromise on quality.  This is our Legal Counsel Service, delivered via our team of experienced legal advisers who share our overriding commitment to provide a market leading service.

Vialex also advises companies and investors on corporate transactions throughout the UK. This is our Transaction Services, delivered via our team of highly experienced deal lawyers who undertake work for both existing Legal Counsel Service clients and other individual clients who instruct us on a transaction-by-transaction basis.

We advise businesses of all shapes and sizes, and at every stage of development, and we scale up or scale down our support to suit each client and their needs at that time. Our Legal Counsel Service and Transaction Services complement each other and share the common aim to deliver the best possible service to our clients.

From private equity-backed companies to owner-managed businesses and startups, we can provide the ideal support structures to sustain growth and drive value at each stage of the journey.

We work with our clients to understand what is on the horizon for their business and to determine how we can support them, enabling us to anticipate the issues that will affect their business and to manage them proactively. We aim to be part of their team and, unlike traditional law, to be on hand to assist decision-making. And that allows us to scale up our support for a client, ensuring as smooth a transition to growth as possible.

As for pricing, we believe our fees should be determined by the value to a client of our work, rather than the amount of time our lawyers spend on a particular matter. We call that “value billing”. Our preference is to agree in advance a fee for a particular piece of work, often on a fixed or capped basis, and we do not retrospectively reprice. Inevitably, each client has different requirements, and we always work to accommodate those requirements in pricing our services.

The Homeless World Cup Foundation

The Homeless World Cup Foundation is a social organisation founded in 2001 to advocate for a global solution to homelessness. Its mission is to use football to support and inspire people who are homeless to change their own lives; and to change perceptions and attitudes towards people experiencing homelessness.

Since 2023 Vialex has provided pro bono legal services to the Homeless World Cup Foundation.
